These Terms and Conditions (the "Agreement") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Player", "User", or "You") and Northern Lotto Inc. ("Northern Lotto", "Operator", "We", or "Us"), a licensed lottery operator. By accessing the website northernlotto.com (the "Site"), registering an account, or purchasing lottery tickets, you accept and agree to be bound by this Agreement.

1. General Provisions

1.1 Applicability

This Agreement governs your access to and use of the Site and all services provided by Northern Lotto, including the purchase of lottery tickets, the use of player accounts, and the claiming of prizes.

1.2 Modification

Northern Lotto reserves the right to modify, amend, or update this Agreement at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on the Site. Your continued use of the Site following the posting of changes constitutes your acceptance of such changes.

2. Eligibility and Registration

2.1 Age and Location Requirements

To register for an account and play on Northern Lotto, you must:

• Be at least 19 years of age (or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher).
• Be physically located within an eligible Canadian province or territory at the time of purchase.
• Not be a person prohibited from gaming under the laws of Canada or by self-exclusion.

2.2 Account Creation

You may only open one (1) account with Northern Lotto. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process. Providing false information is a violation of this Agreement and may result in the forfeiture of winnings and account suspension.

2.3 Identity Verification

We reserve the right to verify your identity and age at any time ("KYC - Know Your Customer"). We may request documentation such as a government-issued ID, proof of address, or banking details. Failure to provide satisfactory documentation may result in account closure.

3. Purchasing Tickets

3.1 Official Operator Status

Northern Lotto is the official operator of the lottery games offered on this Site. When you purchase a ticket, you are entering directly into the draw. We are not a ticket reseller or messenger service.

3.2 Finality of Purchase

All ticket purchases are final. Once a transaction has been confirmed and the "Buy Now" (or equivalent) button has been clicked, the ticket cannot be cancelled, refunded, or modified, except in the event of a technical error acknowledged by Northern Lotto.

3.3 Ticket Limits

We may impose limits on the number of tickets you can purchase per day, per week, or per draw to promote responsible gaming and prevent fraud.

4. Winnings and Prize Claims

4.1 Prize Validation

All winning tickets are subject to validation by Northern Lotto's system. In the event of a discrepancy between the numbers shown on your screen and the official numbers recorded in our central gaming system, the official system record shall prevail.

4.2 Payment of Winnings

• Prizes under $1,000 CAD: Will be automatically credited to your Player Account balance.
• Prizes between $1,000 and $25,000 CAD: May require additional identity verification before funds are released to your bank account.
• Major Prizes and Jackpots ($25,000+): Must be claimed in person at a Northern Lotto prize center. Major winners may be subject to a publicity release as required by provincial regulations.

4.3 Currency

All transactions, bets, and payouts are conducted in Canadian Dollars (CAD).

5. Responsible Gaming

Northern Lotto is committed to providing a safe and responsible gaming environment. We provide tools to help you manage your play:

• Deposit Limits: You can set daily, weekly, or monthly deposit limits.
• Self-Exclusion: You can request to be excluded from accessing your account for a specific period (e.g., 6 months, 1 year, indefinite).
• Session Timers: Reminders of how long you have been logged in.

If you choose to self-exclude, you will not be able to reactivate your account until the exclusion period has expired.

6. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to engage in any of the following activities:

• Using the Site for any illegal purpose, including money laundering or fraud.
• Attempting to manipulate the outcome of any game or the operation of the Site.
• Using automated software (bots) to purchase tickets or extract data.
• Colluding with other players to gain an unfair advantage.

Violation of these rules will result in the immediate termination of your account and forfeiture of any funds.

7. Limitation of Liability

7.1 "As Is" Basis

The Site and services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Northern Lotto makes no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the uninterrupted or error-free operation of the Site.

7.2 Liability Cap

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Northern Lotto shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the Site. Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of this Agreement shall not exceed the amount of the wager(s) placed by you that gave rise to the claim.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this Site, including text, graphics, logos, images, software, and audio clips, is the property of Northern Lotto or its licensors and is protected by Canadian and international copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content without our express written consent.

9. Privacy Policy

Your use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference into this Agreement. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect and use your data.

10. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes arising under this Agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Toronto, Ontario.
